PROGRAM COMING SOON

The Golden Encore
A Collaboration Between Wilton High School Theatre & The Wilton Garden Club
This May 16th, 17th and 18th, the Wilton High School Theatre Department presents Big Fish, a musical that celebrates imagination, legacy, and the stories we leave behind. In a meaningful extension of these themes, we’re proud to launch The Golden Encore— a community project in partnership with the Wilton Garden Club’s Golden Miles initiative.
During the run of Big Fish (May 16–18), audience members will have the chance to sponsor virtual daffodils in honor of someone in the show or simply in support of the arts and the environment. Then, on October 18th, parents from the Theatre Arts Association (our parent booster group) and the Little Theater Club will join with members of the Wilton Garden Club to plant daffodil bulbs near the Wilton High School entrance sign on Route 7.
Each spring, these golden blooms will return as a vibrant encore — a symbol of the stories we tell, the beauty we grow together, and the lasting impact of community collaboration.
Plant a daffodil. Leave a legacy. Join us in writing the next chapter of Wilton’s story.
Be the Hero of YOUR Story!
Everyone Has a Story – What’s Yours?
In our music, Big Fish, the main character, Edward Bloom (played by Finn Ryder) fills his life with unforgettable stories—tales of giants, witches, true love, and impossible adventures. His stories may be exaggerated, but at their heart is something true: the desire to be remembered, to connect, and to make life a little more magical. We invite you to become part of the story. Use the prompts below to share a memory, a tall tale, or a moment from your life that deserves to be told. Make it bold, make it beautiful, make it yours.
Selected stories will become part of our lobby display, a living tribute to the imagination, heart, and heroism in all of us. Just like Edward’s tales, your stories - whether funny, heartfelt, or fantastical - have the power to move and inspire. Fill out the form below to help us fill the space with real life wonder!
